Born in Quebec, Canada, Broz and her family moved to the United States in the 1960s, a lifelong dream of her father, who emigrated from Czechoslovakia. Broz pursued lifelong dreams of her own. She received a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design, and an MFA from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Now working as a full-time artist, she resides in Atlanta. "My paintings tell a story, about people, life lessons, or a view of the world. Whether an abstract or a room interior, I use color, pattern, hand stenciled collage papers, and composition gold leaf to create relationships, between shapes and negative space," says Broz.
