DuPont's formative years in San Antonio and growing up with the Alamo were major influences on her work. She takes architectural images and captures their essence through color, light, the beauty of her subjects imbuing the feelings of comfort and strength. Her inspiration comes from places like Mexico, Italy, central Spain, and Cuba. As a result, her prize-winning work has been collected throughout the world. She is a veteran of over 200 one-woman shows, museum exhibits, and her work has been included in over 1,000 corporate and private collections.
