Born in Seattle, Washington, Jane Bellows worked as a photographer before merging her photography talents with her desire for painting. She began painting abstracts, experimenting with forms, lines, and space, bringing lighting and perspective influences into her florals and landscapes. Today, she flourishes in several different media, but favors acrylics for its textual quality. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections.

Embrace the abstract with Jane Bellow’s Wishful Thinking II. Her paintings have a way of making the abstract relate-able, almost natural, making them interesting, engaging, and always beautiful to look at. Let your imagination run wild with her whimsical forms and surprising bursts of color. If you’re hoping to bring out the rich blues and gold tones that she uses in her painting, try a print on paper in one of our custom frames. If texture is what you’re after, a print on canvas will give it that authentic, painterly touch.
