For some, art appreciation begins in the classroom. For Phields', hers began in Europe, because she spent many summers with her grandparents in the Netherlands, avid art collectors. Her passion continued. She won a scholarship to study at the Prague Institute of Classical Studies for painting, and now lives and paints in Seattle. The beauty of her work can be found with daisies and other floral subjects, and now, her art is in full bloom. She is represented by galleries across the United States and Europe.
