Olivia Maxweller left her 9-to-5 job as a cake decorator and picked up art brushes and paint and embarked on another version of the sweet life: the life of a painter and sculptor. Her work is regularly displayed at the popular Kathy Womack Gallery in downtown Austin. In addition to still life and natural studies, Maxweller paints bar and music scenes, recalling her nights as a club promoter. "All of these experiences have inspired me artistically, and my work reflects them," says Maxweller.
