Wyn Bielaska is a registered Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects who has collaborated extensively on a wide range of projects in the United States, Canada, China, Europe, and the Middle East. The project types include museums, performing arts centers, large mixed use complexes, resorts, and waterfront developments. His experience extends to design competitions as well as teaching, and is currently teaching part-time at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. His abstract style encompasses nautical aspects combined with reflections of life.

Wyn Bielaska found these ship hulls in Vancouver, Seattle and Tacoma Washington. These photographs are part of an ongoing exploration utilizing large steel ship hulls as the central subject matter in the study of manmade materials and the impact of natural forces upon them. As an architect, these explorations become very important to Bielaska in attaining a deeper understanding of the nature of materials. They are also important exercises for him as a visual designer in the evolution of his visual perception that serves his daily pursuit of spatial and form composition.
